Directions

Route from Church to Reception:

It is a 25 minute drive from the church to the reception. For accurate printable turn-by-turn instructions print this PDF.

Click the blue button above for the best route from the church to the reception. The route markings are accurate on Google maps, but one of the turn directions is misleading: In Charlwood, while you are travelling on The Street, the route states "Continue onto Norwood Hill Rd". This is actually a right turn onto Norwood Hill Road (towards Leigh, NOT towards Russ Hill or Rusper).

Sat-nav devices will probably not have the exact location of Norwood Place farm available, it is a good idea to print the PDF above as a backup.

If create your own Google directions or search for the destination, Google will not give you the route above, but a more complicated and less scenic one. Entering the street address for the reception in Google maps will guide you to roughly the right spot, but to the wrong side of the road.

Public Transport:

There are no buses or trains near the reception. If you need a lift to the reception or a lift home, please speak to one of us in advance, or speak to the ushers on the day. We will try to find someone who can give you a lift.

Essential Information

Invitations:

The reception will be held in a 16th century barn. The barn is small, so numbers for the reception are much more limited than at the ceremony. You'll have a special reception slip in your posted invitation if you're invited to both parts of the wedding.

Parking:

There is plenty of parking at the barn. Follow the signs (bear left) once you enter Norwood Place Farm, parking is in a large field. You must take your car home on the evening of the wedding.

If you're invited to the reception and have any special dietary requirements, please let us know in advance.

Useful Extras

Taxis:

Taxis – If you want a taxi to collect you from the reception, you should call them about an hour in advance (it is Friday night).

Tell the taxi operator that Norwood Place Farm is about 1 mile North of the Fox Revived on Smalls Hill Road, (postcode, RH6 0HR). A taxi will cost approximately £15-20 to get back to Crawley (United). Ask for a quote in advance to be sure.

Time:

Immediately after the wedding, we will make our way to the reception. It is a 25 minute drive. 

The reception will end before midnight (barn owner’s rules), so plan ahead.
